Father/Son Bunker Battle

Father/Son Bunker Battle

I’ve just got back from a weekend golf break up at Bonville Golf Resort near Coffs Harbour. My parents are over from the UK and so it’s a rare chance to get a few games in with my Dad.

We’ve managed two games so far, both wearing Bunker gear and both at Bonville, a tough course based on Augusta and well worth a game if you ever get the chance.

Round 1 saw my Dad par the last with a shot to beat me, it’s the first time he’s beaten me in 5 years so you can image how much stick he’s given me – I put it down to his lucky new Bunker shirt that I got him. Anyway he played really well and deserved the win (even though I didn’t do much wrong).

Thankfully he gave me a chance at redemption and so I had to make sure I beat him in round two. I played a little better than the previous day and squared the series after beating him 5&4.

With honours even we’re thinking we need to squeeze in one more round before they go home, it’ll be a big game if we do get the chance! Hope everyone’s wearing it well.
