Rose Ends Drought With Back To Back Wins

Think it’s safe to say that winter has given us a little preview of what’s to come this past week. I don’t know about you but I saw a lot of new bobble hats out on the course ….and here in our office at Bunker HQ! For those of you that need a fresh hat for this winter, you can find our AW17 collection here.

Someone that certainly doesn’t need a bobble hat (although he would look perfect in one) is Justin Rose. He is the new comeback king after the past fortnight, earning over £2 million pounds in 7 days. To be honest it’s a shame he hasn’t rearranged his schedule to play again this week in Sun City, because to see an all English shootout for two weeks with him and Tommy Fleetwood would be awesome for golf. All we can hope is that it’s still all to play for next week in Dubai.

Speaking of next week, make sure to check out Sky Sports on Tuesday 14th November at 7:30pm for the Hero Challenge live from the floodlights at the Atlantis Hotel, Dubai. Tommy Fleetwood is going to be joined by John Rahm and others for a tournament kick off, similar to the one seen at the British Masters earlier in the year. It’s always nice to see professional golfers in a more relaxed and care-free environment where they can actually “Enjoy the Game”.

But back to this week…..who is going to prevail in the beautiful surroundings of Sun City? After last week, there seems to be a lot of top names hitting form. It was nice to see Nicolas Colsaerts hitting the top of the leader board once again, and the talented Belgian has every chance of winning this week. Big man Kiradech Aphibarnrat is a bit of a dark horse after forcing his way into contention in Turkey, and certainly worth a punt. However this week’s tip would have to be defending champion Alex Noren. The cool and calm Swede has been understudy to Henrik Stenson for a while but is definitely just as good.  Sitting at 8th in the Race to Dubai, with a win already under his belt this season, Noren has the game and mental toughness to be a back-to-back winner…..at 20/1 as well he’s not a bad shout for you gamblers out there.

Across the pond, those PGA Tour guys have a hard life don’t they? Las Vegas last week, Playa Del Carmen in Mexico this week. Following the sun around the globe all year must be a terrible way of life. I know I’ll be watching without a hint of jealousy…..tucked up under a blanket in front of the fire with a big mug of hot chocolate…..there’s only one winner really! Keep an eye on the Champions Tour Finale as well, plenty of household names competing in what is slowly becoming a PGA Tour from 15/20 years ago.

Let’s see you guys out on the course this coming week. Use the hashtag #teambunker on Twitter and follow @bunkertom1…..those of you that are “Wearing It Well” will get retweets and shout outs across our social media.
